Excellence in Service
To encourage and recognize excellence in the practice of law and public service, the VLF created the Fellows of the Virginia Law Foundation. Induction ceremonies are held annually at the January meeting of the Virginia Bar Association, held in Williamsburg. The current Fellows membership totals 353.
The Fellows organization is governed by a Fellows Council consisting of a Chair and eleven other Fellows, all appointed by the VLF Board of Directors. The Fellows Council assists the Foundation in the fulfillment of its mission and operates a mentor program for new lawyers.
