A Message Regarding the 2009-10 Grant Cycle
The downturn in the U. S. economy and financial sectors has not only affected our prospective grant applicants, it has impacted us. Our investment portfolio that fuels our grant making has declined in value. The formula we apply to determine how much we will devote to grants annually also resulted in a significantly reduced pool of available dollars. At this time, we will not be considering new proposals for funding in 2010. We anticipate that we will return to our regular grant application process in 2011.
