Dear Virginia Law Foundation Friends,

The Virginia Law Foundation promotes through philanthropy the rule of law, access to justice and law-related education, and has distributed, over the past 34 years, nearly $23 million for hundreds of community-based and statewide law-related public service projects. Since 1996 our grants and operations have been funded solely from private donations and investment income. Our continued success is dependent upon those who believe in our mission and provide donations.

After a lengthy re-evaluation of our grant-making process over the past 18 months, the Virginia Law Foundation recently adopted a "Vision Statement" to guide our future grant making efforts, and will now be seeking large scale, high-impact collaborative statewide projects that focus on the areas referenced in our vision.
